Motorola appears not to rest with the launch of the Nexus 6 smartphone in partnership with Google as the Droid Turbo from the manufacturer has been surfacing in leaks for quite sometime. The smartphone codenamed Quark is claimed to be targeted towards the popular US carrier, Verizon Wireless.
So long, we have been witnessing numerous leaks and rumors regarding the Droid Turbo, but now the live images of the handset have appeared online. These images confirm the textured back panel of the smartphone that was suggested by the rumors.
Other than this, the specifications of the Droid Turbo have also been revealed and going by the images, the device would arrive with a 5.2 inch Quad HD display with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels and uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset clocked at 2.7 GHz aided by 3 GB of RAM.
The device is likely to come packed with an ample 32 GB of onboard storage capacity without any provision for expansion, a 21 MP primary camera with dual LED flash and a juicy 3,900 mAh battery to render a decent backup. Fueled by Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system, it is said that the Droid Turbo would feature a water repellent Kevlar fiber coating on its back.
For now, the other details regarding the Droid Turbo remain unknown and we will get to know more detail as the device gets launched on October 28.
