According to the hardware of advanced Moto G or might you can say 2014 edition of Moto G didn’t added much and pack almost same hardware compared to the 2013 variant. A Snapdragon 400 processor, 1 GB od RAM and only 3G (HSPA+) supportable and also by design the device looks almost similar.

The main remarkable difference which we have seen is the display and sheer size of the new Moto G. Stepping up from a 4.5-inch display, it now has a 5-inch display at the same 720p resolution. That’s good for 294 ppi.

Moving over to the next big changes, Motorola has offered front-facing stereo speakers to the Moto G. However, this isn’t BoomSound, but you’re going to get a really better experience watching videos or playing any music on this phone than the original one.

In camera also there have some up-gradation as it now has included 8 MP main shooter and 2 MP as a front facing replacing the 5 MP and 1.3 MP cameras previously.

Motorola has made the changes with the Moto G very wisely because, if they increase the device’s budget, it might effect the growth they are anticipating.

As an external bonus, Motorola has also made the new Moto G water resistant, with a so-called “coating” around the phone that keeps it safe from accidental spills. As of now they won’t put any specific IP rating on it, but any increased resistance to water over “none” is a welcomed addition.
