Microsoft New Selfie-Focused Smartphone Coming Soon

According to the latest report- The Microsoft Corporation hardware chief gave employees a sneak peek at a ‘selfie’ phone featuring a 5 megapixel forward-facing camera at an internal meeting of the company this week. The Stephen Elop, the former Nokia CEO who now runs the Microsoft’s devices business, has shown off the phone in front of thousands of employees at the company’s annual employee meeting, which held at the Seattle on this Monday.


The report is also mentions that this new Microsoft Smartphone has a 4.7 inch (11.9 cm) display screen ‘selfie’ phone, plus it is an another high-end Windows Phone,  which  wasare expected to launch soon, according to tech news site The Verge, which first reported the news. According to earlier reports, this phone might be Lumia 1820 which may be launched in the month of September of this year.

In this device, there is a 5 megapixel camera on the front of the device is much more powerful than Apple’s iPhone 5, who has a 1.2 megapixel front facing  camera, and the Microsoft phone’s screen is larger,  which making it better-suited for  those users who want to take pictures of themselves.Now the operating system king Microsoft is trying to jump on the selfie bandwagon after rival Samsung launched the Galaxy K Zoom earlier this year.
