Microsoft launches Office for Android tablet preview

On this Thursday the software giant Microsoft has unveiled the MS Office app for the Google’s Android tablet preview. The interested consumers can participate in the preview by signing up here, where as the availability of the app has been scheduled at the early of the next year-2015.


According to Microsoft, they are looking for  those consumers who can uses the Android KitKat  running  operating system in there 7-inch-10.1-inch tablets ( at present no word on the latest Android Lollipop OS support yet) for try out the preview.The Microsoft offers an Office Mobile in Google Play Store,  and now the upcoming Office for Android tablets will be the first full-fledged version of the Office apps on Android.


The tech giant Microsoft has also not offered any other details at this point but you can check out the screenshots of the Office for Android tablet preview later in the report. The company  has announced that it is releasing Office for iPhone apps and making the editing support on iOS free. Editing, earlier, required an Office 360 subscription, the same is expected to be carried over to Android.
