A new report coming regarding the Microsoft smartwatch which is gearing up to launch a or fitness-oriented wearable device in the coming weeks. In the report, it has been confirmed with that the wearable will come with a heart rate sensor and is described to work across multiple platforms, meaning that it won’t be tied to Windows or Windows Phone and Android as well if true. The great thing about the news is that unlike other smartwatches today, the Microsoft-made smartwatch is claimed to get two days of battery life which I think a very positive feature to have in a smartwatch or wearable.
This latest news about the launch of Microsoft smartwatch has been aired by Forbes which is citing “sources close to the project.” At this time Microsoft hasn’t uttered anything and this report from Forbes is based on earlier rumors suggesting an October launch.
If Microsoft manages to launch its wearable and ship it by the holiday season, it would beat Apple’s latest Apple Watch that hasn’t been started shipping, and most probably will reach to public until early 2015.
