Most anticipated Xiaomi Mi Band 1S has been officially unveiled. This new device will come with some new features like heart rate monitor that was not there in its predecessor. This smart band from Xiaomi is going to be released on November 11 in China.

The Mi Band 1S looks very similar to the previous band except the optical heart rate sensor under the band that comes in direct contact of the wrist. This band comes with solid upgrade to company’s most popular fitness band.

Now, users can easily track their daily activities with its heart rate monitor. This new feature will certainly consume more battery, meaning this new band won’t have 30 days battery life as Mi original band. The Mi Band 1S can now track your heart rate as well as sleep and steps. The vibrating and LED notifications features of the original band have been retained. This band will also allow you to unlock your phone from within the range. The new band measures 37 x 13.6 x 9.9 mm and weighs half a gram more than the original. This band also comes with IP67 dust and water protection ratings.

This Mi Band 1S will be available in China on November 11 at the price of CNY99, which is approximately equal to $15. This device will also be compatible with both Android and iOS smartphones.
