Meals delivery startup, EasyKhana raises $100,000

Food delivery service, EasyKhaana raises $100K in angle round of funding from a private investor. The company will expand its delivery areas as well as strengthening its logistics system and technology with the help of the raised funding.

EasyKhaana is a Delhi based startup that delivers meal boxes to corporate and individual person. As of now, the startup operates in Gurgaon, Central Delhi and West Delhi, but the company is planning to expand its service to some other areas also. Aayush Anand and Vishrut Gawri have started this service in September 2015. Currently, the company has main kitchen located in New Delhi, but it is planning to open a new kitchen in Gurgaon also.

EasyKhaana is food delivery service that offers homely meals for individuals and corporate people. Customers can book their meals via company’s official website or a phone call. The company has its own food delivery chain that compromises different set of foods, technology and logistics.

Currently, there are lots of Dhaba and canteens that offers homely food for this section of people. This means that the main competition of the company is all the Dhabas and canteens. Co-founder of EasyKhaana, Aayush said about the difference between its food and others, “Our food and the disposable hygienic packaging differentiate us from rest. Our aim is to create an enriching experience for the user. The whole process is aimed at making the user feel at ease. One can place an order on our website in less than 30 seconds,”

Recently, some other food portals have also raised funds. Twigly had raised unspecified amount from TracxnLabs and Angels. MealHopper food aggregator had raised $100K in seed round of funding from There are some other food service startups that are facing cash crunch. Some of them have reduced the productions, whereas some of them are going to shut down their services.
