Mailbox Android app updated with notifications actions

Mailbox Android app developed by Dropbox, has made available to the Android users a month box, but now Mailbox is already getting the major updates. Dropbox is the fun and fast mobile inbox that puts the email in its place. Now it is available for the iCloud and Gmail users and is available for the other platform users soon.

Dropbox has developed Mailbox with completely redesigned inbox which makes email fast, light and friendly to the mobile users. Swipe quickly your emails to archive or trash folders. Quickly scan the entire chat conversations at once with chat-like organization. There is a snooz like feature which reminds you about the new emails until later with the tap of the view button. They will be automatically returned to your inbox so that you can focus on important things.


Mailbox checks for the new emails in the cloud and it delivers to your phone securely. Mailbox has the auto learning feature and it learns form your swipes and it helps to automate common actions. Mailbox has the beautiful user interface and its clean inbox is a very good experience.

Now Dropbox has introduced the updated for Mailbox and the first notable update brings time saving features and added an ¬†action button in the app’s email notifications. Now there is an Reply button¬†on the expanded Mailbox notifications and also Snooze and Archive buttons which can be activated through the swipes in the app itself. This makes the email organization faster and simpler.

The new update includes the following things

  1. Notification actions were added.
  2. UI improvements, tweaks and bug fixes.

This update brings the Mailbox to the version 1.01. Along with the above updates some UI improvements are made and some bugs are fixed. Mailbox is free for everyone and is compatible only for the devices running on Android 4.0.3 or higher.
