MagicTiger acquires its rival on-demand delivery startup, Instano

Instano, a Business to Consumer (B2C) ecommerce app has been acquired by Bengaluru based on-demand delivery service startup, Magic Tiger. Instano is an eCommerce startup that offers on-demand delivery of services over chat. Core team of Instano that includes Rajesh Ranjan, Rakesh Krishna Andey and Vedant Agarwala are going to join MagicTiger as a part of the deal.

Instano is a Bengaluru based B2C ecommerce app that allows users to order their delivery through messaging. The startup was founded in 2014 by Jazeel Badur Ferry, Nazeem Zishan and Mohammed Saud. Customers can message about any requirements like plumber, car mechanics, dairy, grocery, etc.



The startup offers 24×7 service. The company promises to delivery your requirements in 30 minutes. It is not a free service, as the company charges a delivery fee of minimum Rs. 20. As of now, Instano offers its services to more than 800 Whatsapp users and 400 plus users via its app.

Pratyush Prasanna, co-founder of MagicTiger said about the deal, “Instano was one of our best competitors and had good focus on operations as well as quality. We realized, lots more could be done together than separately.”



MagicTiger offers free delivery service to its customers. This means that you have just have to pay for your items purchased via the service. This is also a messaging on-demand service, which allows its customers to ask about any problem. In return, the app provides best solution to its customer’s problems.
