Whenever you hear the name Logitech, first things comes to your mind will be computer keyboards and mice and great speakers. But now company is looking to change things and want to attract the younger crowd as it is now reinventing itself with new name and logo. The new name for the company is Logi, which introduces new simple black and white logo. The company is also launching new label for its latest categories, which may have some non-computer accessories.
Alastair Curtis, chief design officer at Logitech said, “Logitech has undergone huge changes, so we’ve created an identity that is an expression of who we are today and who we will be moving forward.” The company’s new name and logo will be coming with selected new products and some new categories product. At the launch of new Logi brand, company has not mention any specific product name or categories, but I am damn sure that you’ll get some new products under this new level soon.
Charlotte Johs, VP of brand development of Logitech says, “Tech is everywhere. Tech is in the air you breathe, in your clothes you wear and in the near future tech doesn’t say anything”
Since the introduction of Logitech back in 2013, company has been working behind the scenes to reinvent the company. Bracken Darrell, Logitech president and CEO says, “We’ve been reinventing Logitech, creating products that strive to blend advanced technology and design to bring you amazing experiences.”
The company has taken very bold step by changing name and logo, once company start delivering product in this new banner, then only we will be able to know that this step will make an impact or not.
