Well in time for the Consumer Electronics Show, LG unveiled the latest product from its Music Flow series. This time, they have come up with Wi-Fi enabled speakers. And not just any Wi-Fi enabled speaker, this one will start playing music automatically whenever it will detect your phone nearby. This whole system includes three speakers, and three sound bars.

It is packed with the usual features that you would expect. There’s the option to connect to a device with the help of your Wi-Fi┬ánetwork. It also has Bluetooth, so you can play music directly from another Bluetooth device. In a first, LG is offering a battery powered speaker as well. Then comes the most interesting and new feature; it will play music from your phone whenever it can detect the phone nearby.

You will be needing LG’s Music Flow App in order to use these services. It integrates Spotify and other similar music streaming websites into the system. Music Flow can also be controlled by using the messaging app, Line. Once you’ve been added to it as a contact, you can give instructions like ‘Play Music For Work’, ‘Turn Off The Music In One Hour’; and it will do exactly as you please. In a sense, the Music Flow is a part of LG’s smart home plans where they are trying to integrate it with their HomeChat service.

We will keep you up to date as more details are revealed.
