The entire tech media world is eagerly awaiting the launch of the LG G Watch R based on Android Wear platform. It is already speculated that this Moto 360 competitor with a round design will be announced officially at the IFA 2014 that is slated to happen between September 5 and 10 in Berlin.
In the meantime, the South Korean tech tycoon has posted an image of the smartwatch on its official Facebook page providing a better look at the watch and the circular design. It appears to feature a traditional design that is similar like any other watch in the market. However, the display appears to be relatively smaller than the screen on the Moto 360 and it looks like there are thicker bezels surrounding the screen.
Motorola has managed to incorporate a larger display surrounded by thinner bezels by displaying all the display drivers on it. Usually, these drivers are positioned around the sides below the display in the black portion.
It has to be noted that the circular LG G Watch R will be the second generation Android Wear smartwatch from LG, whereas the first one dubbed G Watch was launched in June and had hit the stores immediately.
