The Korean giant LG has launched LG Lifeband Touch wearable, which they showcased in the CES 2014. And Now the Lifeband Touch wearable device is coming with Heart Rate Earphones which together will help users monitor their fitness and health.
The LG Lifeband Touch has a 0.9-inch OLED touchscreen which has 32 x128 pixel resolution and packed with a Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, a 90mAh battery which provides five day battery life, and varying weights (from 49.9 grams to 53.1 grams) and lengths (166mm to 196mm) based on M, L or XL sizes according to the user.
According to the LG, the Lifeband Touch offered the real-time access to a full range of fitness data. It has a ‘unique motion-sensing algorithm’ that automatically turns on the display when wearers rotate their wrists. The Lifeband Touch features two sensors – a triple-axis accelerometer and an altimeter.
The LG Lifeband Touch has compatible with both Android and iOS operating systems and it is designed to work with the LG Fitness app and other popular fitness apps such as MyFitnessPal, Runkeeper and MapMyFitness.
On the other side, the LG Heart Rate Earphones are basically designed for the accurate heart rate data with the help of measuring blood flow signals in the ear using PerformTek sensor technology. The Heart Rate Earphones can be used alone as well as it also used with the LG Lifeband Touch wearable gadget. A separate clip-on medallion contains Bluetooth connectivity which sends data to the Lifeband Touch or the compatible Smartphone.
Both the devices are compatible with the LG Fitness app. The heart rate earphones have a 200mAh battery which also has a Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity. In this ear phone the hands free and voice guidance functionality. The weight of the earphones is near about 26.7 grams
