LG L Fino and L Bello smartphones with Android 4.4 announced ahead of IFA 2014

While the entire tech world is eagerly waiting to witness the launches that will be taking place at the next month’s IFA tech show in Berlin, LG has taken its turn well ahead. The South Korean tech firm has unveiled two new smartphones called LG L Fino and L Bello respectively that are based Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system.

At the time of launching these smartphones, LG has claimed that they would be powerful alternative to the high priced smartphones that are aimed to target the emerging 3G markets.

When it comes to the technical specifications front, the LG L Fino features a 4.5 inch IPS display with a screen resolution of 480×800 pixels and is stuffed with a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor paired with 1 GB of RAM. There are an 8 MP rear snapper with LED flash and a VGA front-facing selfie camera onboard. Storage wise, the L Fino arrives with 4 GB of native storage support that can be expanded externally up to 32 GB using a micro SD card. Also, it has 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS connectivity features and a 1,900 mAh battery.

On the other hand, the LG L Bello is given a 5 inch IPS display with a FWVGA resolution of 854×480 pixels. There is a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor powered the device and this is aided by 1 GB of RAM. The handset has an 8 MP primary shooter with LED flash and a 1 MP front-facer to handle the imaging requirements of the users. There is an increased 8 GB of storage capacity that can be expanded up to 32 GB by means of a micro SD card. Under the hood, there is a 2,540 mAh battery that should suffice in delivering a decent backup to the device. Otherwise, the connectivity features are pretty standard and they are identical to the ones in the LG L Fino.

On the software front, both the LG L Fino and L Bello are packed with features such as Touch & Shoot, Gesture Shot, Knock Code and LG G3 UX with flat customization. Furthermore, there a Front Camera Light and the signature Rear Key button and QuickCircle Case.

LG has announced that the handsets will go on sale in Latin America, Europe, Asia and CIS starting this month. The details regarding the exact pricing and specific release date will be announced later by the firm.
