LG had launched the G Watch R launched couple of days back with hardware and other details and now in the 2nd day of the very known IFA conference week has shown the smartwatch officially along with the availability, according to the wall street journal.

The Korean manufacturer has targeted much more strongly about the design of the gadget this time that is supposed to be the strongest rival of much awaited Moto 360. And the result looks more like a traditional analog watch on your wrist rather than a smartwatch, but like the rival Moto 360, it shows an important step in the right direction for smartwatch design.

According the company, it tool more than a year to design this robust G Watch R. According to us, LG has tried something worth with the device that reveals that they took the imagination to another level.

LG G Watch R

The body of the G Watch R is a combination of both metal and glass, with a stainless steel frame and substantial lugs combining to its calfskin bezels. Although there’s only one body style, If we talk about the size of the watch that feels larger on the wrist than its squared-off sibling — but has got included some personalization options beyond the bundled leather strap.

Sadly, there isn’t any ambient light sensor that helps you use the device even in the sunlight that might be a disadvantage compared to the Moto 360. When it comes to charging, like LG’s earlier smartwatch, pins on the back of the watch included it to its charging dock, and the jack itself connects to other stuff over microUSB post.According to us charging devices like that is not a matter of worrying but at the same time we cant avoid it as well because this is the only thing that helps you keep the watch live throughout the day, and at least LG’s circular arrangement fits together neatly.
