While the South Korean tech giant LG is busy rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for its offerings including Nexus devices and LG G3 among others, reports indicate that the vendor is working on new devices. There is information that the company is prepping new offerings such as LG G Chocolate, LG G Black, LG G Black Slim, LG G Black Sound, LG G Plus and H series of smartphones.
Firstly, a LGMyphones report has spotted a listing on HTML5Test website that details a LG device with the model number LG-H440n. It is claimed that the device runs Android 5.0 Lollipop and claims that it is the European version of the alleged new ‘H’ series smartphones. It is said that this device will be debuting as LG-H441 on T-Mobile and LG-H443 on AT&T in the US.
The report suggests that the device will sport an HD display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels of unknown size. This clearly points out that the smartphone could be a budget or mid-range offering.
Furthermore, the alleged LG-H440n managed to score 512 out of 555 on the latest Chrome 34 browser. It is likely to be running an early build of Android 5.0 Lollipop, LRX02E.
Also, several of LG’s recently filed patent applications revealed by PhoneArena include the aforementioned ones and they could be used for the upcoming devices. However, the report does not include any other information regarding those devices that might use these names.
