The LG G3 Stylus that made a cameo presence in the promotional video of the G3 Beat. Following the same, the alleged Galaxy Note 4 competitor has now been spotted at the FCC bearing the model number LG D690n.
According to Korean Times, LG will be launching the device this quarter that ends on September 30, 2014. This deliberately tips that the handset could see an IFA launch at the tech show to happen in Berlin early September.
Though the G3 Stylus is believed to be a tough challenger to the upcoming Galaxy Note, the handset packs downgraded specifications as compared to the firm’s flagship model LG G3. Hence, it is likely that the G3 Stylus will be a mid-ranger just like the G3 Beat.
As for the leaked documentation, the LG G3 Stylus is tipped to arrive in multiple variants that are meant for different regions and carriers. While the LG D690n has been spotted another variant joining it is the LG D693n.
When it comes to the specifications, the LG G3 Stylus is claimed to arrive with a large 5.7 inch HD display with 720p resolution and support for stylus. It is likely to use a 1.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor teamed up with 1 GB of RAM. The device is claimed to come with 8 GB of native storage support that can be expanded using a micro SD card.
Said to be fueled by Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, the alleged LG G3 Stylus smartphone is claimed to feature an 8 MP main camera at its back teamed up with a 1.3 MP secondary sensor onboard.
While a confirmation on the authenticity of these specifications is still pending, we need more details such as the launch date and pricing of the LG G3 Stylus. As the handset appears to have cleared the FCC certifications, we expect it to be launched anytime soon.
