Rumors are rife regarding different variants of the LG G3 that are slated to launch later this year. While one of them is the upgraded LG G3 that will support 4K video recording, the other device is its miniature model. Though we are not sure of what will the moniker and the specifications of the G3 Mini, latest rumors suggest that the device will be launched as LG G3 S.
According to a leaked User Manual of the handset, the confirmed name of the G3 Mini is LG G3 S and it suggests that it will be a carrier-based device carrying the model number D722V. It is likely to include all the software aspects that were packed in the current flagship model with the prominent difference being the downgraded hardware package.
On the specifications front, the LG G3 S will not be incorporating a high-end processor with the amazing QHD display panel. By saying this, we mean that the device will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC and boast a 5 inch IPS LCD panel that packs a HD screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels.
If the rumors are to be believed, the LG G3’s miniature device will arrive with an 8 MP primary snapper paired with a 2 MP front-facer for making video calls. Other specs onboard would comprise of 16 GB of internal storage that can be expanded by means of a micro SD card, 2 GB of RAM and a 2,540 mAh battery to energize the device. It is also said that the LG G3 S will run on Android 4.4 KitKat platform and pack 4G LTE connectivity aspect.
