LG G3 leaked screenshots reveals new Optimus UI

As it head closer to the release of LG’s upcoming flagship LG G3, some allegedly LG G3 leaked screenshots started appearing in the internet. The newly leaked screenshots reveals the LG’s revamped Optimus User Interface which is going to debut with this device. The notifications shades looks transparent and the icons looks round instead of square.

The new UI of LG G3 looks leaner and flatter and the which looks better than the previous iteration. The leaked screenshots are of 2560 X 1440 pixels resolution, which confirms that the device will have stunning 1440 p resolution and 2K display. The icons lost their thin lines and gradients and were replaced by gaudy colors which makes the new User Interface looks more beautiful than before.


Changes spotted in leaked screenshots

  • Flatter, Leaner and brighter icons.
  • Accuweather widget now features¬†Concierge¬†feature which tells you whether to take the umbrella when going out and it will helps other things too with respect to weather conditions.
  • Newly added favorite contacts widget helps you to pin all your favorite contacts in circular model.
  • Flat icons and cleaner notification center which reminds you iOS7.
  • Revamped quick settings.

The icons, widgets and drop shadows everything has changed and the color scheme with pastel colors makes the new UI look more beautiful. According to some sources, LG G3 may come with a Google Now like launcher which collects the information from different sources and keep an eye on the user recommendations, browser history and behaves accordingly.

LG G3 is also expected to sport a 16 GB rear camera and will offer 4K video recording. It packs a 3GB RAM and memory can be expandable up to 128 GB using micro SD card. Still there is no official word on the availability of the device and is expected to come in June.
