The existence of the LG G3 has been confirmed and it will be unveiled next week at simultaneous events scheduled to happen in six cities across the world. While the model numbers of the different variants of the upcoming flagship phone remains unknown, a listing of the handset on LG UK’s official website has revealed that the handset with the model number D855.
The same model number appeared online in late April, but it was not related to the LG G3. Moreover, the User Agent profile revealed that the D855 will pack a FHD resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. However, now the same has been updated to QHD 2560×1440 pixel resolution, which is that of the QHD.
Apart from the model number, there is no other information on the UK website of LG. Anyways, its only a week left for the LG G3 launch event and we will eventually get to know all the details pertaining to the handset during its announcement. Meantime, there will be lot of information pouring in this week regarding the phone as its launch is drawing closer.
As for now, we know that the LG G3 will include a 5.5 inch QHD display translating to an eye-popping pixel density of 534 pixels per inch. Also, it is claimed that there will be two variants of the handset – 16 GB of internal memory with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage space with 3 GB of RAM. It is also tipped that it will feature a 13-megapixel primary camera with OIS+ and unique laser-based auto-focus.
