The South Korean electronic giant LG has finally launched its latest flagship device LG G3 in India. The LG G3 is the successor of the LG G2, which was launched in last year 2013. This 5.5 inch Smartphone of LG is available in India at a price of Rs. 47,990(which roughly near around $795).
The Korean giant has organized an event, in which they launched this latest flagship Smartphone. The LG has also launched the LG G watch which is near around Rs.14,990 ($247). The G3, is running on the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat which offered a 5.5-inch AH-IPS LCD QHD (1440×2560 pixel) display which has a pixel density of 538ppi. It was first announced at the end of May.
The South Korean giant is also providing a new custom UI developed for the LG G3, calling it a ‘simple flat GUI‘, using minimum designs, with light typesetting and circular motifs that pervade the whole UI from the icons to the QuickCircle notification area. The multitasking User Interface has also been given a tweak, with app grouping and symbols to help differentiate when switching.
The LG G3 empowered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.46 GHz, featuring 2 GB of RAM and it is available in 16 GB built-in storage variant, and 3GB of RAM for its 32 GB variants. The G3 has a 13-megapixel rear camera with OIS+, dual-LED flash and a laser auto-focusing sensor that can focus in 0.276 seconds. It also has a 2.1 Mega-pixel front facing camera which is able to record full HD video’s.
The G3 also offers some new features such as mart Keyboard, Smart Notice, and Smart Security. LG has used a lightweight metallic ‘skin’ casing, and redesigned the rear button interface with new button materials and shapes to make it more ‘intuitive’. The LG G3 also includes a 1 watt speaker with Boost Amp with KnockON and Knoc Code.
