Lg G Watch was released at the recently concluded Google I/O event and it officially became the first smartwatch. It don’t have the style of Motorola’s Moto 360, but with the Android Wear on the board it is promising nonetheless. Let us see here the detailed comparison of G Watch and Moto 360.

Design and Build Quality
Moto 360 looks stylish and features traditional appearance with circular dial. Unlike Moto 360, G Watch has the typical smartwatch appearance with rectangular screen. Moto 360 is made of the stainless steel and renowned Horween leather strap and it’s Corning Gorilla Glass helps in preventing scratches. G Watch dial is also made up of stainless steel and it comes in attractive Black Titan and White Gold colors. You can replace G Watch strap with any standard 22mm watch strap.
Moto 360 has the 1.56 inch display with 320 x 290 pixels resolution and Blacklit LCD screen and its Corning Gorilla Glass 3 screen protects it from scratches. It is powered by Texas Instrument’s TI OMAP 3 processor along with 512 MB RAM and 4 GB internal storage. It runs on Android Wear platform and compatible with devices running on Android 4.3 or higher. It is IP67 certified for water and dust resistance and packs 320 mAh battery.
LG G Watch sports the 1.65 IPS LCD display. and it is powered by 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 processor along with 512 MB RAM and 4 GB internal storage. It runs on Android Wear platform and compatible with devices running on Android 4.3 or higher. It is IP67 certified for water and dust resistance and packs 400 mAh battery.
Most of the specifications of both the watches looks most similar, but the noted difference is with the processors they are using. G Watch is powered by Snapdragon 400 processor which can be seen in mid-range smartphones, whereas Moto 360 powered by Texas Instruments processor which is not so powerful.
