The LG G Watch R has arrived on Google Play Store in the United States. Announced in August, during the pre-IFA days, the Android Wear smartwatch from LG is priced at $299 and will ship out in 1-2 days after the order is placed claims the listing.
The circular smartwatch from LG is the most expensive Android Wear device launched so far and it boasts of a 1.3 inch P-OLED display with a resolution of 320×320 pixels and is stuffed with a quad core Snapdragon 400 SoC ticking at 1.2 GHz clock speed. This processor is aided by 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage capacity. The dust and water resistant build of the LG G Watch R enables the device to last even under 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. A 410 mAh battery powers the smartwatch pumping a decent backup to it.
LG G Watch R is encompassed in a stainless steel frame features a genuine 22 m leather belt that can be changed as per the user’s choice. It is compatible with Android devices running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and higher. There is a photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor at the back to enable the device in measuring hear beats.
