LG G Watch R ready to launch on October 14

The South Korea giant  LG confirms that the LG circular G Watch ready to launch on October 14 in Korea. The LG G Watch R will be the second round Android Wear Smartwatch which joining Motorola’s Moto 360.

The Smart device manufacturer LG G has issued a press release stating that the LG G Watch R will go on sale in South Korea on October 14. But on the other side the tech giant LG has not issued any announcements for the G Watch R’s launch in any region outside of Korea at this time.


The latest LG G Watch R is empowered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor that is paired with 512 MB of RAM. The smartwatch features the has a 4 GB built-in storage and is packed with a 410 mAh battery. The smartwatch is also IP67-certified and is claimed by the firm to run for 30 minutes in 1 meter of water. This Smartwatch comes with a circular 1.3-inch Plastic OLED or P-OLED display, which already aavailable with the LG’s G Flex smartphone. This LG Smartwatch display comes with a 360×360 pixel resolution and unlike the Moto 360, that is claimed to utilize 100 percent of the watch face.

The company has confirmed the price of its Smartwatch which is KRW 352,000 (roughly $229) which considered the most expensive Android Wear smartwatch at present.
