Lately, LG announced new offerings in its G Pad tablet lineup by launching G Pad 7.0, G Pad 8.0 and G Pad 10.1. Since June, the company was involved in rolling out these devices globally.
Today, the South Korean tech firm has announced that it will debut the global rollout of the G Pad 10.1 starting from this month. Being the largest tablet in the batch, the device will come in Black and Red colors options and it will initially be launched in United States an then hit other markets such as Europe, Latin America and Asia by the end of this month.
Despite announcing when the LG G Pad 10.1 will hit the global markets, LG has not revealed the official pricing of the device, claim the media reports. However, they do suggest that the prices will vary between different markets and they will be announced locally by the vendor.
To recap on the specifications, the LG G Pad 10.1 is fitted with a large 10.1 inch IPS display packing an average screen resolution of 1280×800 pixels. It is stuffed with a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor supplemented by 1 GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. The device is given a 5 MP rear camera and a 1.3 MP front-facing snapper to make video calls.
On the storage front, there is 16 GB of internal storage capacity that can be expanded externally with the help of a micro SD card. Furthermore, the G Pad 10.1 packs connectivity features such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and equips an 8,000 mAh battery under its hood.
Besides the technical specs, the tablet does come with a slew of features such as Smart Keyboard, Touch&Shoot, KnockCode security, Dual Window Mode, Gesture Shot and others. Moreover, the LG G Pad 10.1 is integrated with QPair 2.0 feature that will let users to connect the device with other Android based tablets and smartphones using Bluetooth to receive notifications of incoming calls and messages on the tablet and respond using the same.
