Lenovo unveils Vibe Band VB10 at CES 2015

This CES 2015, apart from a sizable number of  smart phones, Lenovo has unveiled a smart wearable Lenovo Vibe Band VB10 for the fitness fanatics. This smart band is priced $89 and is expected to be available in the market by the first week of April.

Lenovo Vibe Band sports a curved 1.43 inch curved E-ink display with resolution of 296 x 128 pixels. This smart wearable is compatible with any android devices with version 4.4 or higher and also with iOS devices. It helps to track overall fitness by tracking steps, calories, distance, speed and sleep with the in-built accelerometer. Apart from serving as fitness tracker, the band displays notifications for calls, SMS, Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp and more with a display space for 150 characters.

Furthermore, the band features phone finder functionality and proximity reminder that signals the user if the device is far from its reach.Thanks to the E-ink display and low power technology, Lenovo claims that the band can last up to 7 days in single charge even with the Bluetooth and the display always turned on.  This smart band weighs as less as 30 grams and comes with waterproof certification of IPx7. It also consists of Bluetooth 4.0 and a micro-USB.
