Lenovo ThinkPad 10, multimode enterprise tablet launched at $599

Lenovo has announced the launch of its new 10 inch Windows based tablet Lenovo ThinkPad 10. Lenovo is targeting the business users with this model. Lenovo has said that ThinkPad 10 will be available from June and its price starts at $599. The company has said that it is the Lenovo’s premium muti mode business tablet and it offers a full PC experience.

The tablet is made up of aluminium and you can connect a keyboard and use it as a complete Thinkpad Laptop. The ultrabook keyboard for this tablet is available at $129 and the compact bluetooth keyboard is priced at $119. The tablet also comes with the digitizer pen like the Surface Pro 2.

The amazing feature of the tablet is, it is going to come with the option to use the cellular data connectivity. The names itself reveals that it features a 10.1 inch screen with full HD screen and features a Gorilla glass display. It is powered by Intel Atom Z3795 SoC Quad Core Processor clocked at 1.6 GHz and it comes preloaded with Windows 8.1 Operating System. It comes in two variants such as 2  GB and 4 GB RAM and storage options includes 64 GB and 128 GB with the help of the micro SD card. 

It features a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 2 megapixel front facing camera. Coming to the connectivity options it includes Bluetooth 4.0, 3G/4G, LTE, HDMI-out, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, HSPA+ and one USB 2.0 port. It has the dimensions 256.5mm x 177mm x 8.95mm and weighs around 598 grams approximately. It packs the battery with a backup up to 10 hours.

Along with the launch of the ThinkPad 10 tablet, Lenovo has launched the entry level Thinkstation P300.
