Karbonn launches first ever Android One Powered Smartphone

The search engine giant Google has finally launched its Android One powered Smartphones. The first ever Android One Powered Smartphone is launched by Indian Smartphone maker “Karbonn” in the event, which held in New Delhi India. Micromax and Spice are also launching new Smartphones which are packed with Google Android One platform. These new three Smartphones will be available online on Flipkart, Amazon and Snapdeal and via Reliance Digital, Croma and The Mobile Store, offline.

Under this new Android One program the new Google partners with local Smartphone makers to create and sell affordable yet feature-packed Android phones. Google essentially provides hardware reference boards and software support to partner vendors under the program.


The Karbonn Sparkle V is the latest Smartphone which comes under Google Android One Progamme, this Smartphone has a 4.5-inch IPS FWVGA (480x854p) display and it is empowered by 1.3GHz MediaTek quad-core processor, Mali-400MP graphics and 1GB RAM. The phone has 4GB internal storage and a MicroSD card slot that supports cards of up to 32GB capacity. The phone will also come with a 35 GB Google Drive space.

Karbon has launched Sparkle V on the famous Indian e-commerce website Flipkart. It is available in Flipkart at a cost of Rs. 6,399 which is roughly near around $100 USD.
