Jivox raises $6 Million to expand globally


Jivox, an Ad-tech startup based out of Bangalore and California has raised $6 million in the latest funding round led by You & Mr. Jones and its CEO, David Jones. Other participants in the funding round include Fortisure Ventures and CEO of Jivox, Diaz Nesamoney. The raised funds will be used to invest in strengthening the technology of the platform along with growing sales and marketing on a global level.

Speaking on the development, Naren Nachiappan, Managing Director – Jivox India stated that the latest strategic investment is a proof of confidence shown by world’s leading digital marketing firm in the bangalore based R&D team of Jivox.

Founded in 2006, the startup helps the advertising agencies and advertisers to reach out to masses by delivering their data driven ads to various screen. According to the claimed facts, using the Jivox platform, interactive advertisements can easily be served on various channels including banners, streams or smartphones in forms like video, rich media, dynamic content and customizable widgets. It also claims to be reducing the code based approach and the hassle experienced by the advertising agencies in delivering interactive advertisements across multiple screens. Some of the key clients of Jivox include Bose, Toyota, Johnson & Johnson, Sony, Time Warner Cable, Universal McCann and Bayer.

Prior to the latest round, the startup had raised $5.8 million in February 2014 led by Fortisure Ventures with participation from Shah Capital, Opus Capital and Helion Advisers. Further back, it raised $8.2 million from Fortisure Ventures, Opus Capital and Helion Advisers in November 2011.
