It’s googly from Ola this time, yes we mean it. ANI technologies P Ltd, which operates Olacabs has thrown googly in the market.

Last year August Uber launched services called UberFRESH in the US and expanded to Barcelona, Spain this year.
It’s good move by Ola Cabs to offer Ola Cafe services in the cities where they operate. Since India’s food delivery market is piping hot and growing at whopping 40 per cent in last year, which is the fastest growing e commerce space.
Also Ola Cabs is thinking to create more services with their existing network and food delivery business fits in perfectly in the slot that is not capital intensive business but has lot of potential.
There are very high chances Uber, their competitor in the market will replicate the UberFRESH services in India too, hence Olacabs like to be in forefront of the food delivery business and gain first mile advantage. Already Uber is experimenting these services in several markets.
Olacabs move helps the company to further grow in terms of services and also assists in diversification.
