As Apple is more concerned about making chipset that supports 64-bit processing, the iPad Air 2 powered by a 64-bit dual-core A8X chipset that delivers a clocking speed of 1.4 GHz. At this moment Apple hasn’t revealed anything about the RAM fixed on board. It is available in three different models based on in built storage 16 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB. While Nexus 9 moved to the Nvidia this time, packs Nvidia Tegra K1 dual-core Denver processor that offers a clocking speed of 2.3 GHz and is coupled by Kepler DX 1 graphics and 2 GB of RAM. The tablet is also available is in storage variants like 16 GB and 32 GB.

Camera and Software

In terms of camera, both tablets has got an 8 MP camera at the back supports HD recording but if we talk about front shooter, iPad Air has only 1.2 MP camera while Nexus 9 packs 1.6 MP camera.

Here also Apple hasn’t revealed the exact specs of battery packed with iPad Air but according to ValueWalk, the Cupertino company has revealed that this version of iPad offer around 10 hours of talktime. While the HTC manufactured Google Nexus 9 tablet offers a whooping 6700 mAh battery claims to offer around 8.5 to 9 hrs of talktime.

Finally coming to the pricing of these two devices, its clear that iPad Air 2 is costlier than Nexus 9. When it comes to pricing, the iPad Air 2 seems to be costlier than the Nexus 9. The 16 GB iPad Air 2 is priced at $499, the 32 GB edition comes at $599 and the 128 GB variant is for $699. These prices are of Wi-Fi only version of iPad Air 2. The cellular + Wi-Fi models are priced at $629 for base model, 64 GB edition has a price tag of $729 and the 128 GB edition is available for $829. The 16 GB Nexus 9 is available for $399, 32 GB variant is priced at $479 and the LTE enabled 32 GB edition is available for $599.
