Instagram has taken a clue from Snapchat and Twitter, as the photo sharing social network service has launched a special feed for curated contents for specific events. The company has launched this feature, where you can find a curated content of specific holiday themed videos under the headline” Watch Halloween’s Best Videos.” These videos have been curated by Instagram employees.

According to Instagram these videos are “immersive,” which means that you can watch videos from the feed without traditional border, like count and text description. You can watch some really funny videos, which can be played automatically, but if you want to skip or replay the video, you just have to swipe up or down.

The main reason behind this new feature is to take some of the popular Instagram video content based on particular events and make it easier to found by the users. This new curated feed from Instagram serves you with the very best Halloween themed videos only.

Snapchat was the first, who introduced curated contents for specific events, as it introduced Live Stories feature that offers its users curated collection of Snapchat contents from some offline events like sports game and concerts. Twitter also launched Moments features earlier this month, which offers curated tweets about some specific events.

Instagram launched this feature on Halloween. According to WIRED, the company added videos to this feed for almost 24 hours, which also allowed users to upload their videos to the curation team under the hastag #IGHalloween. This new special feed from Instagram looks like a trail run, which will be used for other events in near future.
