Indian car rental service provider JustRide raises $2 Million

Self drive car rental aggregator, JustRide is one of the fastest growing car rental startup in India. The company now has more than 350 cars. Vasant Verma, the co-founder of JustRide has said that the company has raised $2 Million in fresh funding.



The car rental startup, JustRide was founded by a group of five young entrepreneurs, Ashwarya Pratap Singh, Hemant Kumar Sah, Vasant Verma, Abhishek Mahajan and Amit Sahu in April 2015. As of Now, JustRide operates in Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai and Pune, but the company is planning to expand its service in 12 more cities in near future.



The main focus of JustRide is to connect car vendors to the end users in the car rental market through a hyperlocal service network. The customers can book car through JustRide site or mobile app. JustRide promises to deliver booked cars within half an hour of your booking time at various locations. The company doesn’t require any investment in cars, as it is a car rental aggregator. It takes cars on lease from some vendors.

JustRide was started by five young entrepreneurs with just eight cars, but now this online car booking service has more than 350 cars. According to the co-founder of CTO of JustRide, Hemant Kumar Sah, the company is adding almost 150 cars per month and it is planning to reach 10,000 vehicles in two years.
