i2e1 raises $500K in seed round from growX and others

i2e1, the platform that offers low cost or free internet to customers and actionable analytics, has raised $500K in seed round of funding led by growX ventures. Some other angle investors like Mohandas Pai, Debasish Mitter, Rajan Pandhare and Singapore Angels have also participated in this round of seed funding. IIT Delhi, where the startup was incubated is also a shareholder.

i2e1 is the startup that wants to bridge the gap of information for at least 500 Million people over next 5-7 years. The aim of the company is to leverage low cost tech solutions combined with the power of Big Data and Machine learning systems to give low cost or free internet service. It is a smart network layer platform that wants to offer better understandings of customers to merchants or brands. The company also leverages advanced machine learning systems to create valuable insights and increase revenue and profitability for brands and merchants.

Currently, the i2e1 is live across India and it has more than 100 clients including retail stores, ISPs and some hospitality partners like ZO rooms. The company will use the freshly raised funds to expand its team and operations along with strengthening its data analytics. As part of the deal, Managing Director and CEO of growX ventures, Sheetal Bahl  is going to join the board of i2e1.
