China based smartphone manufacturer Huawei is all set to take the wraps off a new handset dubbed Huawei Honor 6 on June 24. The vendor has sent out official media invites for press event that is scheduled to happen in the last week of June in Beijing.
For quite sometime, there were rumors making rounds across the tech world suggesting that Huawei is prepping a premium smartphone. Also, we have seen numerous hardware and design leaks of the Honor 6. Moreover, the speculations claim that the Chinese firm is planning to match up to the ranks of tech dominators – Samsung and Apple and hence, it is coming up with the high-end Honor 6.
In terms of specifications, there are rumors that the Huawei Honor 6 will be powered by the Kirin 920 octa-core chipset that was recently announced. From the leaked benchmark results, this chipset is said to be as fast as the Snapdragon 805 SoC. Other specs include a 5 inch FHD display, 3 GB of RAM, 16 GB of native storage space, Android 4.2.2 KitKat and 13 MP primary snapper at the back.
Ongoing reports suggest that the Huawei Honor 6 is none other than the highly rumored and much anticipated Huawei Mulan.
