Earlier this year, Motorola and Sony let out their default applications on the Google Play Store. Now it appears to be the turn of HTC as the Taiwan based tech titan has pushed its default keyboard app on the Android marketplace instead of pushing out updates of core apps via firmware updates.

The main benefit of launching the applications on Google Play Store is that the users can download the quickly and experience the latest features without wafting for a carrier update.

Well, the Sense Input app available on the Play Store includes support for Google Extract View in landscape mode, handwriting manual submit mode, provides Russian/Romanian/Dutch URL keyboard and more. The QWERTY learns the typing abilities of the users thereby letting the users to type faster without typos. Also, the Swype-style Trace feature makes typing with one hand more convenient.

This default HTC keyboard app will work efficiently on One M8 and One M7 smartphones and on Desire models as well. However, it is not compatible with the Google Play Edition models.
