HTC Weather App Now Available on Google Play for Download

The Taiwanese Smartphone maker HTC  has stock ‘HTC Weather‘ app on Google Play for HTC devices which are running Android 4.4 KitKat or higher variant of Android Operating System. According to some of the reports, which claims that the HTC Weather app is not yet compatible with all HTC devices which are  running Android  Kitkat 4.4 devices.

The listing of the app on Google Play is part of the HTC’s new system app update model for its smartphones, making it easier for the company to provide more frequent updates to individual apps rather than rolling it out with full firmware updates that may require additional testing, and may see lower user adoption.


The latest HTC Weather provides the latest weather conditions for your current location as well as detail information for cities worldwide such as temperature, humidity, real-feel temperature, wind speed, visibility and sunrise and sunset times. 12-hour to 7-day forecasts are also available for those that like to plan ahead.

HTC, the HTC logo and other HTC product and service names referenced in the Application are the trademarks or registered trademarks of HTC Corporation in the United States and other countries of the world.

The HTC is also planning  for the Android 5.0 Lollipop Operating System update for some selected number of smartphones such as- the HTC One (M7), the HTC One (M8) ; the HTC One mini, and the HTC One mini 2. The manufacturer has also said in the they would roll out the update within 90 days of Google releasing the final Android 5.0 Lollipop source code, and once again  they has confirmed there intentions after Google rolled it out on Monday, it means it is good news for the HtC Smartphone users .
