HTC today in London has introduced the all new HTC One Mini 2, the next sibling to last year’s Mini series. The 4.5-inch smartphone offers a smaller display, lower internal specifications — and houses a little bit of a mystery if you are looking to get into an HTC handset but do not want to compromise for today’s flagship, the HTC One M8.

Here comes the features coming with the newly launched HTC Mini 2: The HTC One Mini feels and looks like a smaller HTC One M8 launched couple of months back. It houses only one camera on the back, and it also does not record Zoes or stitch together video highlights. But it does up the resolution to 13 MP. There is the same front-facing, 5-MP camera that you will find on the M8 and the display resolution is around 720×1280, and it is pretty much as low as we would go these days, even at 4.5 inches.

The HTC One Mini2 is also running latest Android KitKat 4.4.2 out-of-the-box with Sense 6 similar to the HTC One M8 powered by Snapdragon 400 processor clock spped at 1 GHz coupled with 1 GB RAM.

These are the highlights of the HTC One mini 2

  • Beauty runs in the family (Looks similar to the HTC One M8)
  • High quality camera for naturally stunning selfies
  • HTC BoomSound™ – A small device that makes a big sound
  • HTC BlinkFeed™ – The news that matters, live on your home screen
  • Share and collaborate with Zoe™

The HTC One Mini 2 poses three different color variant such as Amber Gold, Glacial Silver and Gunmetal Gray. Asia and the Middle  East will be able to first experience this compact device from HTC, which is supposed to surface in June of this year.

There’s a lot of good going on in the HTC One mini 2. For many it will be perfectly powerful, the battery performance is reasonable if not exemplary, but the software experience is one of our favourites in the current market.
