HTC One (M9) Tipped to Arrive with QHD Screen, Snapdragon 805 SoC and More

It is the time of the year when the smartphone manufacturers are done with their major launches for the current year and focused on prepping the next generation flagship models. Already, there are rumors regarding the Samsung Galaxy S6 circulating all over the tech media world suggesting what the handset might include. Now, it appears like it’s the time for Taiwan based HTC to go up the rumor ride.

Well, HTC’s next flagship smartphone, One M9 that is not official yet is made its way in the speculations lately. According to a report published on Monday, the HTC One (M9) that could be unveiled at the MWC 2015 in Barcelona will arrive with a 5.2 inch display with Quad HD 2560×1440 pixel resolution translating to an eye popping pixel density of 564 ppi. Of course, the screen would definitely be sharp and clear than the FHD panel on HTC One (M8).

The report goes on stating that the HTC One (M9) would be powered by a Snapdragon 805 processor aided by 3 GB of RAM. It is believed that the device will pack 64 GB of native storage capacity that can be further extended up to 128 GB and come with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.



It is claimed that the next generation flagship model from HTC will be IP certified with a higher rating and come equipped with a larger battery capacity and higher resolution camera at its back among other enhancements.

Now that leaks have already started to arrive regarding the One (M9), the consumer excitement for the device is all set to rise before its unveiling.
