HTC is having a new handset reportedly dubbed One M8 Ace up its sleeves. The company is renowned for its portfolio of good looking smartphones and it is evident with the current flagship model – One M8 as well.
As HTC is battling a fierce competition with other tech titans such as Apple, Samsung and Sony, the firm is launching variants of its flagship model to quench the needs of consumers with different desires. One such handset based on the flagship phone is the One M8 Ace.
While there are many rumors regarding this handset, the phone has now leaked in full glory revealing the possible specifications. Well, the handset has been approved by TENAA Chinese authorities and it is said to be come with a 4.7 inch display instead of a 5 inch one as it was rumored earlier. While the screen resolution seems to be unknown, it is speculated to pack FHD 1080p resolution.
Furthermore, the handset is not too gorgeous or premium as it appears to be made using plastic instead of the metallic build usually found on HTC devices. Also, it does not pack the dual-sensor UltraPixel rear snapper as in its elder kin.
Adding more credibility to the existence of this device, the firm tweeter from its official Twitter account teasing a smartphone and the tweet reads, “More beautiful curves coming soon.”
Earlier reports suggest that the One M8 Ace will arrive with a 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 SoC paired with 2 GB of RAM. It is tipped to come in two variants – 16 GB and 32 GB of internal storage that can be expanded further and pack a camera set comprising of 13 MP primary camera and 5 MP front-facer. The device would run on Android 4.4 KitKat and support connectivity aspects such as Wi-Fi, 4G LTE and Bluetooth, claim speculations.
While there is no specific launch date pertaining to the HTC One M8 Ace, the Taiwan based website ePrice claims that it will be launched on June 3.
