By | August 20, 2014

Here is a good news to all European HTC One M7 users: according to the latest reports, the Android 4.4.3 update started rolling out to the beloved smartphone. More specifically, the update is showing up for people staying in Romania and Slovakia.

I believe, after the showcasing the Android L operating system, people are not showing much interest on KitKat update anymore (Basically existing Kitkat users), the reason behind this is, they are not updating the UI or any major changes that people are looking for.

The latest HTC One version is said to be a carrier-based one, which means they are not only dealing with off-contract and unlocked devices. This update features 2013′s one of the popular device to software version 6.09.401.5, all included in a 550 MB file full of goodies and new features. We can anticipate more Europeans versions of the handset to get the update soon.

It might additionally be important to note this may be the last Kitkat update for both HTC One M7 and M8, until Android L comes around. HTC has selected to integrate KitKat 4.4.4 security overhauls into the more older Android 4.4.3, making an another upgrade unnecessary. Other than security enhancements, this OTA update additionally offering improvements to certain HTC apps, for example, the gallery and camera.
