HTC One (E8) with Snapdragon 801 SoC Launched

Today HTC has officially launched the One (E8), the ‘newest member of the HTC One family’. HTC announced the Smartphone of its official blog on Tuesday. The device is sporting a similar design to the original HTC One (M7), which has a curvy, plastic body (polycarbonate) instead of a metal casing. The device will be available in a dual-SIM (Nano-SIM) vary in some regions.

The HTC One (E8), operates on the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The phone has a 5-inch SLCD 3 display with a full-HD (1080×1920 pixel) resolution and carries 441ppi pixel density. It is powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (MSM8975AC) processor, which is paired with a 2GB of RAM and the Adreno 330 GPU.

htc_one_e8_launch_htcThe One (E8) comes with 16 GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable through MicroSD card up to 128GB. The One (E8) brings many connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n with Direct and DLNA functionality; 4G LTE; 3G; GPRS/ EDGE; GPS/ A-GPS with Glonass; Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP; Micro-USB; and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The HTC One (E8) is empowered by a 2600mAh battery which is  non-removable. The phone measures 146.4 x 70.7 x 9.9 mm, and weighs in at 145 grams. The HTC One (E8) is also known as the HTC One Vogue Edition in some  specific regions. The Smartphone is  available in many colors such as- Polar White, Electric Crimson, Maldives Blue, and Misty Gray. But the HTC doesn’t disclose the pricing and the availability of the product. The HTC One (E8) also has the latest UI 6 sense which already comes the HTC One (M8).
