HTC launches selfie smartphone Desire Eye

Taiwan based company HTC yesterday unveiled its new smartphone names Desire Eye with high resolution rear and front cameras on both sides to appeal to the people who takes Selfie snaps.

The highlight feature of this smartphone is the twin cameras of same resolution with 13 megapixel. One on the front and one on the back. Round the front there is an f/2.2 with 22 mm wide angle lens. On the back camera there is f/2.0 with 28 mm wide angle lens. Both the cameras are capable of taking 1080 pixel resolution and both the cameras comes with LCD flash.

The device comes with list of selfie specific features including voice activated shutter and novelty face swapping and more useful is face tracking feature, to make video call with phone and this smartphone is capable for of four faces around the room using its super wide angle front lens.

The specifications of this new smartphone Desire Eye are similar to the HTC One M8. The device is powered by quad core qual comm Snapdragon 801 processor and clocked at 2,3GHz with a RAM of 2GB with 16 GB of internal storage. The device is capable of expanding up to 128 GB by using Micro card SD. The connectivity of the devices includes DLNA, microUSB2.0, Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX, 4G LTE, and 802 .11 a/b//g/n WiFi. Desire Eye comes with 2400 mAh battery and promising 20 hours of 3G talk time.
