More Photos of HTC Desire Eye Leak Showing Blue and Red Color Casing

Lately, the manufacturers are coming up with selfie focused smartphones and we have seen such devices from Sony, Sasmung, Nokia and others. The concept primarily involves a front facer with a high end imaging sensor and other features such as LED flash in order to capture gorgeous looking self portrait shots.

For the tech enthusiasts, it would not be surprising to hear that the Taiwan based tech giant HTC is working on a selfie focused smartphone. Furthermore, we have been hearing rumors about HTC M8 Eye and HTC Desire Eye that are leaked in full glory with better imaging hardware. Both appear to be the names of one smartphone that would official at the upcoming October 8 Double Exposure event and the handset resembles the Desire 816 largely.

Apart from the recently leaked dual 13 MP front and rear camera sensors on the Desire Eye smartphone, a batch of photos have been leaked showing the device in full glory. Interestingly, this smartphone is likely to come with 13 MP sensors on both surfaces with dual LED flash to render excellent and incomparable low light snaps.

The photos revealed by Twitter user @upleaks also reveal that the Desire Eye does not include front facing speakers in the same place as unusual, but they are located above and below the screen.

Otherwise, the HTC Desire Eye is said to pack a 5.2 inch FHD display and employ a quad-core Snapdragon 801 SoC clocked at 2.3 GHz paired with 2 GB of RAM. The other aspects of the device include an ample 32 GB of native storage capacity, IPX7 water resistant certification and a 2,400 mAh battery.

    The HTC Desire Eye is a great smartphone. The design might be plastic, but it’s a solid, well constructed and weather-proofed handset pitched at a fair price point. It’s good in use thanks to having plenty of power on board, and has a great display too – albeit a large one.
