HTC Desire 820 launched at IFA with Octa Core 64 bit processor

At IFA 2014 in Berlin, HTC became the first ever brand to launch a smartphone with Snapdragon 615 processor which runs at Octa Core processor. HTC Desire 820 can be termed as the succeeder of Desire 816 which was launched earlier this year. However, Desire 820 is the first ever phone to be powered with Snapdragon 615 and coming in the mid range segment. HTC Desire 820 with snapdragon 615 octa core processor HTC Desire 860 is a 5.5 inch touch screen smartphone loaded with 720p display. The Octa Core chips are running at 1.5 Ghz and 1.0 Ghz speed. There is a 2GB of RAM to support the multitasking activities and 16 GB of internal storage is more than enough for a normal smartphone user.



HTC Desire 820 is powered with a 13 megapixel camera at the back and whooping 8 megapixel camera at the front, that makes this phone pretty much a selfie oriented one.

The phone runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat, but according to the company officials, they are looking forward to get the Android L update for the phone to make sure that the capabilities of 64 bit processor are used to the full extent.
