HTC Desire 601Android 4.4 KitKat begins rolling out

The HTC Singapore has announced via its Facebook Page, the Android 4.4 Kitkat update has available for the HTC Desire 601. On the Official Facebook Page of HTC  Singapore is written “The Android4.4 KitKat update is now available for the HTC Desire 601! With this update, you will also be able to enjoy some of the best Sense 5.5 features!”

The Desire 601 is now receiving Android 4.4 KitKat update. The update for is being rolled out over-the-air (OTA) so the HTC Desire 601 users can check the update by going to Settings > About > Software Updates. The Facebook post has also confirmed that the Android update  has also brought Senses 5.5 UI, which is the latest user interface of HTC and the Desire 601 users can able to experience it. The latest update of Android version and Senses 5.5 UI has also brought some  improvements such as HTC BlinkFeed, HTC Zoe, Sense TV, Video Highlights, HTC Share, and Quick Settings and many more.

The Taiwanense Smartphone manufacturer unfortunately not revealed the official change log for in the update for HTC Desire 601. The HTC also does not disclose that the Desire 601 dual-SIM models which are available in India and other Southeast countries, that they will receive the latest Android KitKat 4.4.2 update or not. If they able to get this update, then the Android Kitkat update when available for their HTC devices in Indian Sub-content countries.

The HTC Desire 601 and Desire 601 Dual SIM has offered same specification. Both variants has 4.5 QHD display with 1.2GHz quad-core processor along with 1 GB of RAM. They also have a 5 Mega-pixel rear view camera along with LED flash and also offered a VGA front facing camera for video calling purpose.
