Sprint, a U.S. carrier has announced that the HTC Desire 510 smartphone will be hitting its retail shelves on Friday, September 19. It is exactly at this time when the consumers can grab the Desire 510 from the carrier paying a price of $199.99. Also, users can opt to pay using Sprint’s Easy Pay Installment scheme with no down payment and $8.34 per month for a period of two years.
The Desire 510 will also be available via two other carriers, Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile on September 22 and September 23 respectively. Both the carriers have priced the smartphone similarly at $99.99 without any contract.
HTC unveiled the Desire 510 smartphone in August with a 4.7 inch FWVGA screen resolution of 854×480 pixels. The handset is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset based on 64 bit architecture housing a 1.2 GHz quad-core Cortex A53 processor and 1 GB of RAM.
The Desire 510 also includes 8 GB of internal storage capacity that can be further extended using a micro SD card. The camera aspects onboard include a 5 MP primary camera teamed up with a front-facing 1.3 MP selfie camera sensor. Along with the usual connectivity features, the handset will also come with Sprint Spark LTE support and HD voice. Running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, the HTC Desire 510 arrives with a 2,100 mAh battery.
