Three New HP Tablets Leak Online Tipping Imminent Launch

HP that has been suffering greatly due to the decline of laptops and desktops is now taking serious steps to capture and rule the tablet realm. The vendor has already come up with several tablets in its Slate lineup that has a slew of tablets with basic design and moderate power. Now, it appears like HP is planning to launch three new tablets.

According to a report by German website, HP is prepping three new tablets allegedly Slate 8 Plus, 10 Plus and Slate 10 Plus. These tablets are said to arrive with some interesting internals and specifications that would make them impressive.

As per the report, the Slate 8 Plus will arrive with an 8 inch IPS LCD panel that will pack a resolution of 1280×800 pixels and incorporate a 1.6 GHz quad-core HiSilicon processor that is paired with 1 GB of RAM. The tablet is will feature 16 GB of internal storage space that can be expanded externally with the help of a micro SD card. Also, the connectivity features onboard include 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and it is said to be priced around 300 euros. The Slate 8 Plus is likely to be launched by the end of this month or the first half of the next month.

Next in the lineup is the Slate 10 Plus that is also said to come with almost similar specifications. While the screen resolution is same with 1280×800 pixels, it will be pretty lower for a 10.1 inch tablet. It will include an identical processor running at 1.5 GHz and draw its energy from a juicy 6,280 mAh battery that could provide 6 hours of backup. It will be priced at 320 euros and arrive with LTE capabilities as per the report.

Lastly, the HP 10 Plus without the Slate brand is in the list and it is claimed to arrive with better specifications. The tablet is said to feature an IPS display with 1920×1200 pixel resolution and employ a 1 GHz quad-core processor paired with 2 GB of RAM. Furthermore, it will feature 16 GB of internal storage with expandable storage support and a good 7,700 mAh battery. Interestingly, the 10 Plus will feature a less reflective glass with matte finish and bear a tempting price tag of 240 euros.
