HP is good at manufacturing budget laptops too, in the year 2011 they released HP pavilion g6t which was a good budget laptop. Now it is back with upgraded dolby audio, wider keyboard and a built in number pad and a faster generation core i3 processor with a price tag of $479. This New HP Pavilion g6t-2000 comes with every thing required for the surfing the web including Facebook as well as Twitter.

Design

This laptop has rounded corner and sparking black Gloss plastic desk and lid. The silver color HP logo is placed on the left bottom corner of the lid. On the above the keyboard you can see the Doldy advanced audio speakers. On the above left corner of the keyboard Silver power button is present with a small light, when the device runs, light glows. This devices weighs around 5.2 pounds and measures 14.8×9.6×1.4 inches.

Display

Device comes with 15.6 inch HP Bright view LED display with resolution of 1366 X 768 Pixels. The bright colors, Crisp Images was not up to the mark even in the standard indoor lighting you could see yourself in the screen. Viewing angles are also not up to the mark. Even display is not very bright, measuring only 160 lux lesser than the average of 244 lux.

Keyboard and Touch pad

Look vise keyboard is pretty good, the keys are matte black plastic which stands our against the glossy desk. The numeric keys pushes the keyboard to the left of the desk, rather than directly in the middle. With this keyboard you can easily start typing on average of 72 words per minute. But keyboard looks slightly mushy.

Touch pad measures 2 x 4 inches and there are two key for left and right respectively, Two fingers scrolling, Rotation, pinch to zoom and three figure swiping gestures all are accurate.

Audio

As I mentioned earlier, Device comes with an Doldy advanced audio speakers which sounds really good. The speakers can be see above the keyboard in the form of a long strip. We can do quick audio adjustments, there are three profiles they are MUSIC, MOVIE and VOICE which adjust equalizer accordingly.

Battery Life

The battery of this device is decent endurance for the budget notebook. The HP’s endurance is close to the Inspiron 15R (4:52), but behind the mainstream category average of 5:27. The last-generation g6t lasted 4:39, and the Acer V5-571 had a lower 4:12 run time.

Performance

In every day use this laptop HP pavilion g6t-2000 performed well. The device is powered by 2.4-GHz Intel Core i3-2370M processor with 4GB of RAM. Unfortunately, this is the 2nd-generation Sandy Bridge rather than the newer Ivy Bridge Intel processor. Over all the performance is good at Transferring the data,  Booting time.

Let us see the specifications
