  1. First of all boot your device into download mode, this is important because you cannot flash new ROM in normal mode, to do so, Press and hold the Volume down+Home Button+Power Button at the same time until you see Samsung logo on the screen.
  2. Now press Volume Up and connect your device to your PC using USB cable.
  3. Now extract the Odin.zip file on your desktop and open the Odin.exe, in the next windows you will see a yellow highlighted bar that means your device is connected properly to your PC. If it is not showing then you need to re-install the USB driver on your PC.
  4. Unzip the Stock Firmware you have downloaded for your device, now click on the PDA from the Odin Tool and browse the tar.md5 file that was extracted from stock firmware.

I have tried this many different ways and cannot seem to get it to work. The phone is an ATT S5 rooted with towelroot and I need to get it back to stock but Odin always fails with “SW Rev Check Fail [aboot] fused 2 >Binary 1″ Anyone know of a way around it? It appears root killed the S health app I use with the gear and I have tried several fixes and none seem to work so unroot seemed the best option but I cant get it to work either.

I also have AT&T’s Galaxy S5 and I’ve tried many ways to remove root and no luck.

I have the Verizon variant and had the same problem with s health. I cleared the s health cache and uninstalled the updates. S health then started working again.
